Camouflage Summer Look
Just because I ride a motorcycle doesn't mean I always dress like a 'biker' – and I suppose that's the main inspiration for my clothing line and store, GirlsGoneBiker.com. My primary goal is to create cute clothing and accessories that are inspired by motorcycle culture and imagery, but at the same time I want to break out beyond the biker stereotype and offer cute products as well as inspire fashion looks that any woman would want to wear.
This being said, this look isn't particularly biker but I love it just the same. I think of it as a summery combination of camping, hunting and military. The Girls Gone Biker Skimpy Camouflage Bandana top can easily be worn with khakis, cargoes, jeans or shorts. Here I've paired it with Roxy High Seas Shorts in Dusty Olive, which I particularly love because of their slim silhouette and scalloped him with taping detail. The Lederhart Apocalypse Bag is an amazingly unique, hand made piece fashioned from a vintage German gas mask canister and embellished with hand dyed and braided leather straps and accents. Bring it all down to the ground with the Western Tina flip flop by M&F. With their camo print, sliver studs and clear crystals, these summer sandals add a little bling and a girly touch.
I've topped off this outfit with some hardcore, yet pretty, accessories. First, we have a one-of-a-kind leather cuff with brass buckle hand made from repurposed vintage leather from the Vintage Collection by Girls Gone Biker. Next, the Shoot Like A Girl Necklace by WoodenHive Vintage Silverware is made from a vintage silver plate spoon head and a real Remington 12 gauge shotgun shell! Given these tough wrist and necklace choices, the best earrings to complete the look are hand made Winchester 38 Special Bullet Post Earrings with Topaz by ShellsNStuff.
There's no way around it; this look shows the world you are a fun and sexy badass.
