Oblivion Behind The Scenes: Jack's Moto Bike

The other day I watched the Tom Cruise movie Oblivion. It is beautifully filmed, action packed, entertaining and I enjoyed the plot... but my favorite thing, of course, is Tom Cruise's folding dirt bike.

This video shows the bike in action and showcases Tom Cruise's riding ability. Tom does his own stunts! He just may need an I Do All My Own Stunts T-shirt, available in a men's and women's version. Of course unlike the riders on the t-shirt, Tom lands his jumps.



The motorcycle was fabricated by custom bike builder Justin Kell of Glory Motorworks in Glendale, CA. His team skillfully transformed a Honda CRF 450X into the sleek and agile dirt bike of the future. Unfortunately, the motorcyle doesn't really fold up. Fabricated sections, models and special effects enabled the transformer-like morphing from suitcase to motorcycle.
